Ozzy Osbourne has pulled the plug on two remaining dates of his arena tour due to an ear infection. The rock legend took the advice from his doctors to cancel the last performances after learning the infection would leave him unable to entertain his legion of fans.
In a statement on his official website, Osbourne canceled shows at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo., on Friday, December 10 and at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn., today, Dec. 12. The multi-platinum Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will reschedule the shows for later dates, which include Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in Minneapolis, and Friday, January 14, 2011, in St. Louis.

After the rescheduled dates, the British performer moves into the 2011 leg of his tour when he hits Omaha, Neb., on Jan. 16. Osbourne will travel for six weeks and play a set of intimate shows as well, including Jan. 26 at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix and Feb. 1 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Longtime friend and musical collaborator Slash will open all the concerts on the second leg of the tour.
The 'Prince of Darkness' is currently promoting his tenth studio album, 'Scream,' which features the lead single 'Let Me Hear You Scream.' The track was recently nominated for a Grammy in the Best Hard Rock Performance category.
