Linus Omark Recalled - General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled centre Ryan O’Marra and left-winger Linus Omark from Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League. O’Marra, 23, has 14 points (1G,13A) in 22 games this season with the Barons. The 6’2”, 200-pound centre has appeared in three NHL games recording one assist. The Oilers acquired O’Marra from the New York Islanders along with a 1st round pick and Robert Nilsson in exchange for Ryan Smyth in 2007. The Tokyo, Japan native was originally drafted by the Islanders in the 1 st round, 15th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Omark, 23, leads the Barons in scoring with 26 points (13G,13A) in 26 games. The 5’10”, 175-pound Sweden native is currently 10th in the AHL in scoring. Linus Omark Recalled
