Loughner Medical Records - The judge in the Jared Loughner case on Wednesday ordered that Loughner's medical records be produced for a court-ordered psychological evaluator, over the objections of Loughner's defense attorney. Loughner, the suspect in the Jan. 8 shootings outside Tucson that killed six and wounded 13, including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, is undergoing psychological evaluation in a government hospital in Missouri to determine if he is competent to stand trial. Loughner is charged with 49 federal felonies stemming from the shooting spree. On April 8, federal prosecutors asked that a psychologist examining Loughner, Dr. Christina Pietz, be provided records from Loughner's pediatrician and from two emergency room visits, one after Loughner showed up for high school classes intoxicated.
