Long Island Serial Killer - A serial killer might have abandoned four bodies that have been found along a desolate, wind-swept stretch of highway not far from Long Island's Jones Beach, police said Tuesday. The bodies were dumped from a vehicle at different times, perhaps beginning as much as a year and a half to two years ago, Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer said Tuesday. "We're looking at that — that we could have a serial killer," Dormer said in response to a reporter's question. The first body, discovered Saturday, was found a few feet into the brush off the road, police said. One body was found 500 feet west of the first body and another was 500 feet east of the first body. A fourth body was found about 1,000 feet from the first body.
