Bristol Palin Buys Home in Arizona for $172,000 - Bristol Palin has bought a five-bedroom home in Pinal County south of Phoenix. Paperwork shows the recent "Dancing With the Stars" diva and daughter of Sarah Palin is the sole purchaser of the house in the town of Maricopa. She bought it for $172,000 from a North Dakota couple. It's not clear if Bristol Palin will be a seasonal visitor or permanent resident at the home, in a development called Cobblestone Farms. According to real estate websites, the residence is a two-level, brown stucco house with a tile roof, a landscaped front and back yard, and access to a community pool. 300,000 Android Activations - Andy Rubin, VP of Engineering at Google, has just made a tweet -- his second ever with first one being the definition of open in response to Steve Jobs -- in which he claims Android has passed the barrier of 300,000 daily activations. To further improve the statement's impact, Dan Morrill, Android Open-Source & Compatibility Program Manager, retweeted Andy Rubin's words shortly after saying that they are indeed true as he (Morrill) is checking the numbers on a daily basis. Google is in a continuous growing trend as far as Android activations are concerned. There were daily 100,000 in May, 160,000 per day in June, 200,000 in August and today they've passed 300,000 according to the two Google executives. While it's certainly an impressive growing trend, it can't continue forever but it's hard to tell which numbers it will top on.
