Tarrant County College Fined For Speech - Tarrant County College (TCC) is latest example for college administrators who try to defend the unconstitutional speech code of their institutions. The aftermath is very expensive. The Texas taxpayers learned a good lesson and even hard way, about 240,000 times harder. The speech code of Tarrant County College was found uncostitutional in March and as an aftermath the litigation was coordinated by FIRE and American Civil Liberties Union of Texas (ACLU-TX). The two worked with Fort Worth attorney to challenge the speech code. These days the vide of the story is been documented by FIRE. There was a quick impact of the lawsuit. Only two days after the filed complaint last year in November, a temporary restraining order was issued by a federal district court judge prohibiting TCC from such speech to the students of the school.
