Notion Ink Adam Pre-Orders - Looks like the company will start taking pre-orders on the Adam tablet starting tomorrow, December the 9th. We’ve been hearing about this tablet for awhile now. It features a 10.2 WSVGA display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. Some other specs of this tablet include a 3.2 megapixel camera with built in auto focus, WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth, plus two USB 2.0 ports, and a miniUSB port along with an HDMI and a microSD card slot. Notion Ink Adam - Rohan Shravan, CEO has posted the bi-weekly Notion Ink Adam tablet news update on the companies official blog today. This weeks updates cover new developments on the Adam tablets trip to the FCC for certification; how the pre-order’s process will go and he even stated that Android Gingerbread OS will be launching on December 6th and the company will be aiming to make the Eden platform that the Adam tablet runs on compatible with the new Android OS; but that is just a snippet of this weeks updates. Notion Ink Adam Tablet PC - The folks who are making the intriguing Notion Ink Tablets are nothing if not great teases. The company blog has been revealing bits of info for quite some time. Well, now it looks like the folks at Notion Ink are getting closer to release. In case you haven’t been following long, Notion Ink is producing a Tablet, using Pixel Qi technology. Yes, digital Inking is a part of the scope as is the display technology that is not only a power saver but one that will allow outdoor viewing with ease. They’ve passed through the FCC (hinting that they did this process a bit differently making it harder for FCC snoops to find the info-that sounds like a challenge to me). They are also getting ready for pre-orders with an interesting twist. If you’ve been a member of “the family” by commenting on their blog, you’ll be allowed first crack at pre-orders.
