Kennedy Center Honors Dec 28 - Five individuals were acknowledged by The Kennedy Center Honors, which aired on Dec. 28 on CBS, including country singer Merle Haggard, dancer Bill T. Jones, composer Jerry Herman, Oprah Winfrey and Paul McCartney. During the event Gwen Stefani and her reunited band No Doubt, Steven Tyler, Mavis Staples, James Taylor, Dave Grohl and Norah Jones all took the stage to serenade McCartney with Beatles tunes. Kennedy Center Honors Dec 28 Gwen Stefani and No Doubt performed a medley of "Hello Goodbye" and "Penny Lane," while Steven Tyler performed a medley of the final four songs from "Abbey Road," the group's last studio album: "She Came in Though the Bathroom Window," "Golden Slumbers," "Carry That Weight" and "The End." Tyler came back on for the finale performance of "Hey Jude" along with Mavis Staples and James Taylor, who also performed a duet of "Let It Be....
