Stanford Band Lebron - In a move as weak as the college bowl system itself, Orange Bowl officials have announced that the Stanford Band will not be allowed to perform at halftime of the Orange Bowl. So it’s come to this: the band is being punished for something it might do. And speculation is that it’s all to protect LeBron James. While I’ve seen no official statement from the Orange Bowl, I do know that Stanford’s planned halftime performance is entitled “Recent Events in the Pro Sports World in Miami.” That can mean only one thing; a devastating satirical takedown of the Marlins’ Dan Uggla LeBron James.
