Most Android phones connect to Wi-Fi, of course. But the difference with MetroPCS's new Huawei Ascend and LG Optimus M devices are the preloaded DeviceScape and Boingo clients, which can potentially seek out and link up with Wi-Fi hotspots without users having to search, log in, or pay much attention at all.
