Sepp Blatter Happy With Outcome - Sepp Blatter, president of FIFA, says that he is a happy man with the voting that took place on Thursday Dec. 2, 2010 in Zurich to determine the hosts for two World Cups. Russia will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup while Qatar will host the tournament in 2022. Clearly Blatter could not be more pleased. "We will travel to two completely new countries. There has never been a World Cup in Russia or elsewhere in Eastern Europe," Blatter said to reporters after the votes had taken place. "Additionally, nations from the Middle East and the Arabic world have long been waiting to get the chance to host the World Cup."
