Nicole Richie Wedding - The former reality stars of The Simple Life, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, have made their spats and truces very public over the years, and the most recent truce in 2006 may not have been as sincere as it appeared.

When Nicole Richie married longtime boyfriend and baby daddy Joel Madden this past Saturday, Paris Hilton was nowhere to be found. She didn’t choose not to go, but Richie neglected to invite her former BFF, UsMagazine.com reports.

"Nicole knew very well that having Paris involved would have inevitably turned a special night into being about their friendship," says a source. "Nicole's life is completely different now."

Apparently there’s no hostility on Paris’ end. She was traveling to Las Vegas for a friend’s birthday on the day of the wedding. "She and Nicole aren't close anymore, but there are no hard feelings there," the source explains. "They just grew up and apart."
