Comcast is doing this in hopes of being paid, otherwise people can use their video service instead.
A partner of Comcast, Level 3 Communications’ chief legal officer, Thomas C. Stortz, said, “With this action, Comcast demonstrates the risk of a ‘closed’ Internet, where a retail broadband Internet access provider decides whether and how their subscribers interact with content.”
The FCC needs to hear from consumers now, before the Chairman makes his announcement this week.
Take action now so that Comcast isn’t able to make these changes.
