Snipes was ordered by the U.S. Marshals Service in Orlando, Florida, to report to Federal Correctional Institution McKean at Lewis Run, Pennsylvania, by noon on that date or face additional charges.
In 2008, Snipes was convicted of misdemeanors for failure to file tax returns in 1999, 2000, and 2001 but was acquitted of felony charges.
In November, a federal judge rejected a bid by Snipes, 48, to win a new trial.
At his sentencing, prosecutors said Snipes had earned nearly $40 million since 1999, but had filed no tax returns. The government said Snipes had been involved with a tax resisters organization.
Snipes is best known for his roles in "Blade" action films, comedies including "White Men Can't Jump" and the drama "Jungle Fever."
