Nineteen-year-old Ann Ward, a 2009 graduate of Prosper High School, will compete against Chelsey Hersley, 23, of Boise, Idaho, for the title of America's Next Top Model at 7 tonight on The CW.
Ward is the front-runner going into the finale. Despite the judges' critiques that she's too shy, she ranked first among her competitors for five weeks in a row, a Top Model first.
Ward, billed on the show as hailing from Dallas, also had to dispatch three competitors from her home state: Liz Williams and sisters Chris and Terra White, all of Arlington.
Tonight, the two finalists will shoot a CoverGirl commercial, a challenge that has become a Top Model tradition. Ward and Hersley will walk in a Roberto Cavalli fashion show in Italy before submitting to a final evaluation from Banks and the other two judges, photographer Nigel Barker and Vogue contributing editor André Leon Talley.
