Rupert Everett Slams Jennifer Aniston

Rupert Everett Slams Jennifer Aniston - British actor Rupert Everett has bashed everyone from Elton John to George Clooney, so it only makes sense that he would take aim at Hollywood sweetheart Jennifer Aniston and in-demand leading man Colin Forth, right? In an interview with BBC Radio 4, Everett says people like Aniston are the problem when it comes down to business vs. talent.

Jennifer Aniston will have one too many total flops, but she's still a member of that (A-list) club, and she will still manage to ... like a star forming in the universe, things will swirl around her and it will suddenly solidify into another vital tasteless romcom, you know, a little glitter next to the Crab Nebula.

Everett then muses about whether or not Firth, who seems to be on track for a second consecutive best actor Oscar nomination for The King's Speech, has robbed gay actors of coveted roles.

Next, he critiques Firth's performance in the 2008 smash Mamma Mia! "Colin Firth I don't think was at all good in Mamma Mia!," he says in the candid interview. "You know, I would have thought it was almost a careericide."

Everett does manage to finally dole out a compliment, however. "On the other hand, I think (Firth's) performance in A Single Man was the best performance of his life."
