New Year Resolution Diet - One of the biggest New Year's resolutions many people make is to lose weight, but with so many different diets out there how do you really know which one is right for you?

FOX31 looked into one diet that's gaining popularity.

It's called the HCG diet and it's quickly becoming one of the most talked about diets today. But it is not without controversy and it's certainly not for everyone.

Yet those who are on it are dropping the pounds and dropping them fast.

Two ounce bottles of HCG are flying off the shelves at The Ascent Health Center in Denver. "Because it works," says Kim Genereaux, a patient at the center who lost 35 pounds in 35 days on HCG.

"I've never felt better. I know what it feels like when you don't feel good about yourself and knowing how I felt before I lost the weight and knowing how I feel now, it's like night and day."

Dr. Julie Marchiol, who owns The Ascent Health Center, sells the product and showed FOX31 how it's used.

The oral drops are either placed under your tongue or in a bottle of water.
