John and Elizabeth Edwards were no strangers to the San Francisco Bay Area when they came here during the campaign. And again, when John Edwards was trying to hide out from the press after the Rielle Hunter scandal broke, San Francisco was the base that was used.

San Francisco residents who are keeping up with the news are learning that a source close to Rielle Hunter is saying that Hunter has been "very patient" and that she "believes that John is her soul mate, and thinks they are going to get married."

Elizabeth Edwards, estranged wife of John Edwards, has been lauded for her courage in the face of her husband's infidelity as she was battling cancer.

Elizabeth Edwards died of breast cancer this week, age 61. She had undergone chemotherapy, radiation and surgery in order to extend her life. She discovered the cancer when she received a broken rib. See more on that article here
