The show has followed the owner from the start of the season. It was supposed to be a triumphant story of an owner on his way to hosting a Super Bowl at his stadium with his Cowboys on the marquee.
With the 2011 Super Bowl set in Dallas and the Cowboys preseason front-runners to represent the NFC in the big game, it was a no-brainer story. But then the wheels came off. The Cowboys failed to compete and fell to 1-7 before Jerry Jones was forced to relieve head coach Wade Phillips of his duties.

The fact that interim head coach Jason Garrett has the team back to winning comes as little solace for Jones. He told 60 Minutes reporter Scott Pelley, "Before this year started, we were recognized as probably or certainly one of two that were favored to win the Super Bowl....What you're seeing now is agony."
