Derrell Johnson-Koulianos has been suspended from the team after getting arrested on drug charges.
According to a report in the Cedar Rapids Gazette, Johnson-Koulianos was arrested Tuesday and held in the Johnson County Jail on several drug related charges. Johnson-Koulianos posted $8,000 bail and was released from custody Tuesday night
During a search of Johnson-Koulianos's residence Tuesday afternoon, police found marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs. They had a search warrant as part of a drug investigation.
Johnson-Koulianos and his roommate are charged with possession of controlled substances, unlawful possession of prescription drugs and keeping a drug house.

Hawkeyes Head Coach Kirk Ferentz released the following statement:
"I am highly disappointed to learn of the charges. Derrell has been suspended from all team activities."
Johnson-Koulianos won't play in the Insight Bowl on December 28th. He leaves Iowa as the program's all time leader in receiving yards and receptions.
