Celebrity Divorces 2010 - Celebrity couples drive fans and media crazy, whenever they hooked up or broke up the news related to their relationship is always a hot topic. This year we had a large list of celebrities filing for divorce, or in some cases like Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins who split up after years living together without being married.

In January we hear that Dennis Hopper, who was at the time battling with Prostate cancer filed for divorce from his wife for the past 14 years Victoria Hopper, they had a six year old daughter Galen, Mr. Hopper died in May at age 74. This same month we heard that Brangelina allegedly visited a divorce lawyer, they would announce their break up in the following months, until this day no such thing has happened. Golf star Greg Norman divorced his tennis star Chris Evert with whom he got married in 2008. John and Elizabeth Edwards split up after so many years together and due to his alleged affairs, Pamela Anderson split up from her electrician/ surfer beau Jamie Padgett, Real Housewives of Orange County Tamra Barney split up from her hubby Simon. Conan O’Brien got a $45M deal not from a divorce from his wife, but from NBC.

In February Suzanne Hinn had been married for over 30 years to the famous Televangelist Benny Hinn, she cited irreconcilable differences. Also in February Private Practice’s Kate Walsh and her movie executive husband Alex Young got divorced after almost 2 years and a half married. Former MLB player Barry Bonds’s wife Liz Watson filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage. After three years together Abbie Cornish and Ryan Phillipe went separate ways.

In March movie actor Billy Baldwin almost got divorced from his wife singer Chynna Phillips, she was the one who filed for divorce and later retracted. Another couple who allegedly split up were The Hills’ Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, nobody believed any of these two publicity junkies. Jon Gosselin split up from girlfriend Christy Morgan, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy split up just like Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone. Tawanna Iverson filed for divorce from her NBA hubby Allen Iverson, she took him back not long after. Titanic film actress Kate Winslet filed for divorce from her husband of 7 years Sam Mendes.

During April, May and June we heard about Serena Williams and Common’s breaking up, Al Gore divorcing his wife Tipper Gore, Larry King and wife Shawn Southwick filed for divorce but changed their minds soon after, Angela Bassett and her husband actor Courtney Vance and LeAnn Rimes who got married in 2002 to Dean Sheremet got divorced on June.

Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wades divorce from Siohvaughn Wade was finalized in June he and Gabrielle Union are now dating. One of the most famous, ugliest divorces in June was the one between Sandra Bullock and Jesse James. Other famous celebrity break ups were the ones between Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi; Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry, singer Charlotte Church split up from her Rugby player Gavin Henson, Mamma Mia sweethearts Amanda Seyfried And Dominic Cooper split up as well, Audrina Patridge and Ryan Cabrera ended their romance, although nobody was sad to hear about this last one.. I wonder why?

Farm dogs maul Irish Tourist - An Irish tourist who was mauled to death by two dogs while visiting an organic farm in Penang yesterday morning had more than 50 bite wounds and lacerations all over his body. Penang Hospital Forensic Department head Datuk Dr Bhupinder Singh, who performed the post-mortem on Maurice Sullivan (pix), 50, today, said he found the wounds on the victim's head, neck, hands and legs. Man Hits Teen on Plane Over iPhone - Police say a man on a Southwest Airlines flight from Las Vegas punched a teenager who refused to turn off his iPhone as the plane approached the Boise airport. Officers arrested 68-year-old Russell E. Miller, of Boise, on suspicion of misdemeanor battery Tuesday. He has been released from jail on bond. Witnesses told police the 15-year-old was playing games and listening to music on his cell phone when flight attendants instructed passengers to turn off their electronic devices because the plane was landing. Witnesses told police that when the teen didn't respond, Miller got angry and punched the boy in the arm. Miller says he "tapped" the teen on the shoulder after he refused to turn off the phone. Contactless Debit Cards - Contactless debit cards will make their formal debut in Canada next year with the launch of Interac Flash from Acxsys Corp.’s Interac Association, Canada’s national debit network. Interac’s first two Flash issuers are Scotiabank and RBC Royal Bank, which will roll out their first contactless cards next summer. The first acquirer is TD Merchant Services, a unit of Toronto-Dominion Bank. More issuers and acquirers are on the way, an Interac spokesperson tells Digital Transactions News, though no announcements have been made yet. Interac and the banks tested Flash this summer at some high-volume, small-ticket merchants in downtown Toronto.
