Jackie O Half Brother Held Jail - Jackie O's half-brother was held in jail this past weekend, spending Christmas with inmates instead of as a man on probation. Seems James Auchincloss just might have violated his terms of probation.

Auchincloss was on probation after pleading guilty to two felony counts of encouraging child sexual abuse. He was caught with pictures of naked boys on his computer. Talk about a sad way to regain visibility. He went from carrying his sister's train in her wedding to that.

His being held in jail is standard procedure, though not necessarily for committing a crime. This offender has strict rules he must follow while on probation.

According to the Mail Tribune, the Ashland resident was taken into custody December 21 and will be held in jail for 30 days. Nate Gaoiran, program manager of Jackson County Community Justice's sex offender unit, said Auchincloss failed to conform to the rules he was given.

Nobody is saying which rules he violated that led to his being held in jail for 30 days without bail. Not that it matters; the Jackson County police have been watching over sex offenders long enough to know what they're doing in this case.

Some of the rules that Auchincloss, 63, has to follow include staying away from children and undergoing treatment. He will also need to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
