Kate Gosselin Denies Kids Were Expulled - Contrary to reports that a couple of Kate Gosselin’s kids were expelled from school, the mother of eight is dispelling the rumors.

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant and single mother told Entertainment Tonight that the reports were false. “Two of my children are being tutored at home, with a teacher who is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school,” she said.

She reveals her reason for taking the kids out of school, saying, “The pressure was getting to them. You have the divorce anger mixed in with that. They need some breathing time. The goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible.”

According to a source close to People, “The kids are going through a challenging time.”

Even though things might not be perfect at home, Kate is planning a normal as possible Thanksgiving. “We have been able to work out the holiday time peacefully,” she says. “So I will have the first half, he will have the second half, and we just take it year by year, and holiday by holiday.”
