Why New Year's Resolutions Don't Work
For instance, a person may make a resolution to lose weight without really thinking why they want to do it. This person will most likely forget about it at 12.05am. On the other hand, a person that attaches other reasons to their resolution are more likely to succeed. For instance if a person makes a resolution to lose weight for reasons other than the new year.
