The most popular website, and probably the easiest to use would be eBay, so this would be a logical first stop to get your feet wet. Here you can list pretty much anything and everything you want to sell. Payment is made through paypal and can be withdrawn to your bank account. If you want the funds more readily, paypal even has a debit card you can use to spend your money.

Listing your products is easy, selling them is more of an art. You can't just slap the item up and expect it to sell straight away. A good, thorough product description is needed to ensure the buyer gets all the details they need. Multimedia is also appealing to the eye so put up as many pictures as you can.

Finally, and most importantly, price your product correctly. If the price is too high you may never sell anything. If your price is too low you will not be getting the best price possible.
