The Buccaneers are 8-5 straight up and 8-4-1 with the pro football betting lines as they are coming off a 17-16 win/push at Washington last week as the Redskins botched a game tying extra point attempt at the end of regulation.

The Bucs rank 12th for scoring defense and 22nd for scoring offense. Josh Freeman, who had a rough rookie season last year, has improved to have an 87.9 QB rating with a 17/6 TD/INT ratio. Tampa Bay is in the thick of the NFC wild card race as they trail Atlanta and New Orleans in the NFC South Division race.

'Green Hornet' Star Edward Furlong Jailed - Troubled former teen star Edward Furlong was thrown in jail Tuesday for allegedly violating a restraining order against his estranged wife, just hours after attending the Hollywood premiere of his new film, “The Green Hornet.” Furlong was arrested during a progress hearing Tuesday morning over the 100-yard, three-year restraining order taken out by Rachael Kneeland, People reported.
