Fatal Car Crash Indoor Pot Farm Maryland

Fatal Car Crash Indoor Pot Farm Maryland - Police in Maryland say that when a car crashed into a man's home in Ellicott City, west of Baltimore, it revealed a 44-year-old man's indoor marijuana farm.

Richard K. Marriott and another person were uninjured when a BMW driven by 20-year-old Bryan Bolster crashed into Marriott's house and burst into flames on Dec. 10. Bolster died in the crash.

Howard County police say fire investigators were inspecting Marriott's home for structural damage when they found the drugs. Police got a search warrant and found what they describe as an extensive growing operation.

Marriott was arrested Wednesday and is being held on $15,000 bond.

According to The Baltimore Sun, Marriott's lawyer says the plants were for personal use, not distribution.

Court records show he also faces trial next month on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Homes Losing Value Fastest - Homeowners with Citigroup loans in foreclosure-rich Virginia Beach, Va., and Orlando, Fla., are in luck. That's the worst rate in the country. Even in Orlando and Miami, two cities hammered by bad loans and home-equity dips, only 30% and 29% of homeowners are underwater, respectively. It's a similar story in El Centro, Calif., Bakersfield, Calif., and Cumberland, Md. What's certain to follow? Foreclosures. "Negative...
