That's likely the question many of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding guests are asking themselves ahead of the big day.
Luckily for guests, Prince William and Middleton aren't expecting gifts. Instead, the royal couple wants guests and well-wishers to make donations to various charities.
"When the invitations are issued, they will have some kind of instruction on how to make a donation to a charity chosen by the couple," a senior royal aide told U.K. newspaper The Telegraph.
"They are still considering whether it will be just the foundation, or whether they will also pick individual charities and projects which they are linked with," the official added.
Prince William has been actively involved with a number of charities over the years thanks to the influence of his mother, Princess Diana. He's a known supporter of 28 charities, including Centrepoint, The Child Bereavement Charity, The Tusk Trust and The Royal Marsden Hospital, according to The Daily Mail.
