Edward Furlong Jailed | 'Green Hornet' Star - Edward Furlong was arrested on Tuesday morning after allegedly violating a court order to stay at least 100 yards away from his estranged wife.

The Green Hornet actor – who is the subject of a three-year restraining order forbidding him from going near Rachael Bella at her home, place of work and vehicle - was taken into police custody after turning up to court for a progress report where it was found that, according to the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, Edward breached the order last month by coming within 50 yards of Rachael.

The 33-year-old star – who has a four-year-old son, Ethan, with Rachael – was then sent to jail, before being released after posting his $75,000 bail.

A probation violation hearing has now been set for Valentine's Day.

The restraining order came after Rachael - who filed for divorce from Edward in July 2009 after three years of marriage - told the court in a previous hearing the actor repeatedly drives past her house, once threatened to kill himself and refused to take a drugs test when she demanded he take one during their custody dispute.

Edward - who shot to fame aged 13 - has a history of alcohol and substance abuse problems and has had several stints in rehab.

Man Hits Teen on Plane Over iPhone - Police say a man on a Southwest Airlines flight from Las Vegas punched a teenager who refused to turn off his iPhone as the plane approached the Boise airport. Officers arrested 68-year-old Russell E. Miller, of Boise, on suspicion of misdemeanor battery Tuesday. He has been released from jail on bond. Witnesses told police the 15-year-old was playing games and listening to music on his cell phone when flight attendants instructed passengers to turn off their electronic devices because the plane was landing. Contactless Debit Cards - Contactless debit cards will make their formal debut in Canada next year with the launch of Interac Flash from Acxsys Corp.’s Interac Association, Canada’s national debit network. Interac’s first two Flash issuers are Scotiabank and RBC Royal Bank, which will roll out their first contactless cards next summer. The first acquirer is TD Merchant Services, a unit of Toronto-Dominion Bank. More issuers and acquirers are on the way, an Interac spokesperson tells Digital Transactions News, though no announcements have been made yet. Interac and the banks tested Flash this summer at some high-volume, small-ticket merchants in downtown Toronto.
