Soon after, the suit alleges, Salerno began spreading the word that the wedding was off.
Buttitta says she was left with the expenses - including $30,000 for a venue, $12,000 for flowers and $10,000 for an orchestra - along with the "emotional distress" of informing 225 guests the wedding was a no-go.
Unfortunately for Salerno, an apology isn't likely to cut it.
In a letter to her ex, Buttitta wrote, "I am not still willing to marry you," according to the Tribune.
