Based on a poll by Zogby International, fourteen percent of U.S. adults have switched to a community bank or credit union in the last year. Why?
Sixty percent of that group said that they moved their accounts to "protest policies or behavior of large national banks," Boston.com reported. The second and third reasons were lower service charges and better rates, respectively.
