According to TMZ, Lohan has been talking to producers of Superman for several weeks, with the goal of landing a part in the big-budget action flick. Insiders say the part is not that of Lois Lane, but it would still be a "major character."
Of course, the main problem is the actress's alleged involvement in stealing a necklace worth $2,500 US from a jewelry store in Venice, California, last month. TMZ broke the news that the Los Angeles Police Department will charge Lohan with felony grand theft on Friday, which could hinder the starlet's plans for a big comeback. "We vehemently deny these allegations and, if charges are filed, we will fight them in court, not in the press," Shawn Chapman Holley said in a statement.
