Toddler Locked in Overhead Bin

Toddler Locked in Overhead Bin - A Virgin Blue flight attendant was fired after an angry mother claimed he locked her toddler son in an overhead bin, the Sunday Herald Sun reports.

Natalie Williamson told the newspaper that she, her 17-month-old son, Riley, and her now estranged husband were traveling on a Virgin flight from Fiji to Sydney, Australia, when the flight attendant picked up Riley, placed him in the overhead bin and shut the door.

Virgin confirmed that the incident did occur but said Williamson's husband was playing a peek-a-boo game with Riley when the flight attendant joined in.

"We conducted a thorough investigation of the incident and the staff member involved was subsequently terminated," a Virgin spokeswoman told the Herald Sun.

Williamson said that Virgin Blue offered her free flights, but she said she is too shaken by the incident to redeem them.

"My husband, Shayne, was standing one meter behind my son, Riley, when the air steward picked him up and placed him in the overhead compartment," she told the Herald Sun.

"I stood up and there were people laughing and then I said 'Get my son out of there now'," she said.

Liquor Store Rampage

Liquor Store Rampage - An angry woman on a bottle-breaking rampage swept through a West Nyack liquor store. Police said she didn't steal anything, she just wrecks the place.

"I am angry about it. I've never seen this happen. In 25 years, in the business, I've never seen anyone do something like this.," said Chris Giacopelli, son of store owner.

The clerks on duty told police the woman came right in the front door and stormed right over to the counter, wanting to jump the line. They said she was very upset.

Surveillance video shows her arguing with the clerk about 30 seconds after she walked in. During this heated exchange, clerks said she asked to use the restroom and was told no, and that really set her off.

She headed to the back of the store, then clears parts of shelf on her way out and it's all on video

Police know she arrived and left in a cab and was dropped off at the Palisades Mall. They have a possible line on her identity, but still need some help identifying the suspect.

In the interview for Fox Business she said: ‘See because our president is so inexperienced in the private sector and in government and in actually running anything and making any kind of budget that inexperience has really made manifest in some of the statements he makes.’

work’ by cutting taxes and 'incentivising' big business.

The Alaskan political pundit suggested the country needs to be ‘tapping into our own domestic sources of energy because his [the President’s] na├»ve and destructive and terrifying anti-oil agenda is going to bring our nation to our knees and his agenda must be stopped and if it isn’t we lose our exceptionalism.’

Alaska is the biggest oil-producing state in the country, extracting more than twice the amount of the second biggest producer, Texas.

Dougie Poynter Rehab

Dougie Poynter Rehab - Celebs check in and out of rehab on a regular basis but we'll admit we're sad to hear that Dougie Poynter is the latest celeb to seek help.

The McFly guitarist was left heartbroken last year after breaking up with long-term girlfriend Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays.

And according to the Sunday Mirror, a "crushed" Dougie has spent the past four weeks at The Priory.

A source close to the McFly man told the paper: "It got to the point where he was struggling to get through a day so he decided to seek help at the Priory clinic.

"He's been in there working hard on getting his head straight.

Following the news that Frankie had moved on to footballer Wayne Bridge, a heartbroken Dougie told The Mirror: "I don't think I'm over it yet. Something like that could take years. It's just time."

We hope a spell in rehab does Dougie the world of good - he is expected to rejoin the band for their Above The Noise tour later this month.
