Dual core processors are becoming more and more standard these days but are they really necessary? For around 90 percent of us they are simply a waster. What most people don't understand is they would be much better off getting a single more powerful processor for their money.
The benefit of dual core processors are most evident when multi-tasking. Even then one would have to be doing several demanding processes to take full advantage of both processors.
