Model at Busch Home Died of Oxycodone Overdose

Model at Busch Home Died of Oxycodone Overdose - The December death of a 27-year-old woman at the Missouri home of beer tycoon August Busch IV was ruled an accident, a medical examiner said Wednesday.

Adrienne Nicole Martin died of an oxycodone overdose, the St. Louis County Office of the Medical Examiner said in a statement. She was found dead December 19 at Busch's Frontenac, Missouri, home, authorities said.

The medical examiner's office said that information, and its complete report, was forwarded to the law enforcement agencies investigating Martin's death.

Police responded to a call from the home about an unresponsive woman, authorities said.
"This girl is not waking up," Michael Jung, a home staff employee at the Busch estate, told the operator.

"Is she breathing"? the 911 operator asked Jung.

"We don't know," Jung replied. "It's dark. I'm going to get a light to see." The call ended after the operator told Jung an ambulance had been sent to the property.

It seems to be very dangerous for young women to be involved with ABIV. In the mid 80s while attending the University of Arizona at Tucson, a young woman was killed in a late night auto crash. ABIV was whisked away to St. Louis by his family from the hospital. Who was driving? Look it up...

Matt Cassel Undergoes Appendectomy

Matt Cassel Undergoes Appendectomy - The mystery of Matt Cassel missing practice Wednesday coupled with the Kansas City Chiefs promoting quarterback Tyler Palko has been solved.

The team has announced that Cassel underwent an appendectomy on Wednesday morning. The Chiefs say they expect Cassel to return to work this week. Returning to work and being ready to perform well in the team’s biggest game of the season on Sunday against San Diego are two different things. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting the Chiefs are viewing Cassel as being questionable to play in the game.

Clearly, this is terrible timing. The Chiefs are 8-4 and would take a major step toward the playoffs with a win over the Chargers. Cassel has played very well for the past two months. If he can’t play, the brittle Brodie Croyle would face the Chiefs in his first action of the season. Croyle last played in Week 13 of the 2009 season.
