Victoria Secret Angels

Victoria Secret Angels - The new Victoria’s Secret angels last night welcomed Adriana Lima’s return, with a twist. When the new angels took to the VS Fashion Show 2010 last night on CBS, back was a familiar face with a dazzling addition. Adriana Lima returned in a $2 million bra covered in diamonds.

The breathtaking creation (Lima) wore the amazing item which featured 3,000 white diamonds amounting to 60 carats, a mix of light blue sapphires coming in at 82 carats, and a sea of oval shaped topazes.

Adriana Lima took the show that featured everyone from Katy Perry to Akon but which did not feature Heidi Klum or Miranda Kerr in attendance. The new angels for 2010 were Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton.

And while the bra was a showstopper, it wasn’t the most expensive from the manufacturer. Victoria’s Secret previously has showcased $5 million and $3 million bras.

Of note, Columnist Rachel Beck contends that high-priced bra sales are a great indicator of Holiday economic trends. Beck asserts that, if women are willing to purchase the higher priced bras, that would suggest two things. First, “they’re probably willing to buy other things for themselves too”. And second, this year Holiday “shoppers are willing to indulge” contrary to previous years.
